Harmony Grove Bamboo warrants all its bamboo laminated plank, in its original manufactured state, to be free from defects for a lifetime.  Bamboo is a natural product, containing natural variations in color, tone, and grain.  Harmony Grove Bamboo can not guarantee against natural variations in each plank, nor minor differences between sample and color of the floor, once the floor has been installed.  The installer is responsible for inspecting each plank for color, finish, size and other quality issues before installation.  Should there be any defects, Harmony Grove Bamboo will replace the defective planks.

Our factory separates light from dark to minimize color variations in our products.  We take great pride in our ability to provide the best color consistency in the industry.  

Harmony Grove Bamboo's standard finish has a full five year finish wear layer warranty for residential and a two year warranty for commercial, excluding any mechanical problem such as indentation, scratched for surface damage caused by lack of proper protection and maintenance, moisture problems such as a dishwasher tub and toilet overflow, commercial use, or overall abuse.  Accessories including but not limited to stair nosing and reducer are covered by a three year wear warranty for residential, one year for commercial.

Harmony Grove Bamboo's ceramic coating, (similar to aluminum oxide),  is a United States manufactured finish through PPG Industries.  The advantage of ceramic coating over the traditional aluminum oxide, is the ability to refinish in place your bamboo flooring with additional coats of urethane with a simple screening and urethane application, unlike aluminum oxide, that require the striping and removal of the aluminum coating before another coat of urethane can be applied.  The ceramic finish is the current "state of the art" protective flooring finish that offers benefits of current technology, providing you, the consumer, the best value and protection of your investment.  Our ceramic coating is applied to our products by professional finishing companies located in the United States.    

We are so confident of our product and our protective coating process that we have a 25 year residential and 5 year commercial wear through warranty for our product when utilized under normal use and when reasonable precautions are taken to protect the finish from unusual abuse.    

Your bamboo flooring must be acclimated for 72 hours on the premises in which the floor will be installed.  

Moisture test the bamboo flooring, making sure it is 6 to 8% maximum, prior to installation.

Check the sub-floors moisture content, to continue with installation the results must not be higher than 12% on a wood substrate and 4% on concrete.  With nail down installation a 15 lb. felt paper barrier is highly recommended.  For commercial use the glue down method of installation is recommended.
